PROS:

  • A whole toybox's worth of playable heroes and villains with unique abilities

  • Massive, lively city to explore and wreak havoc in

  • Well-designed levels are fun and encourage cooperative play

  • Humorous storyline with some pretty funny dialogue sprinkled throughout

CONS:

​

  • Once completed, sidequests just disappear!  No random events or spontaneous supervillain battles!  What gives?!?!

  • Frequent and lengthy loadtimes discourage starting levels or interior missions

VERDICT:

​

  Lego Marvel Superheroes is clearly catered towards young children.  But that won't stop you from having fun with this game.  It's a fun and funny smashfest that the whole family can enjoy.
